Top findings

  1. 1Mandatory phone number collection with SMS/WhatsApp consent opt-in appears at Step 1 of the onboarding wizard — before the user has experienced any product value — creating immediate trust friction and likely causing significant drop-off at the very first post-signup screen.
  2. 2A full CAPTCHA image challenge (selecting cars, then crosswalks across multiple rounds) fires at the password creation step (Step 6/6), the final gate before account access — this is one of the most damaging placements possible for a CAPTCHA, killing momentum at peak intent.
  3. 3Email OTP verification is placed at Step 5 of 6, forcing the user to leave the browser tab mid-onboarding to retrieve a code, creating a P-Gap that breaks flow after the user has already invested time in four prior steps — a high-abandonment moment with no recovery messaging visible.
